Minutes of the October 2009 GTRCC meeting:

The meeting was held Oct 6, 2009 at 6:30 p.m., at La Tarraza in Starkville. President Dave Peebles introduced the guest speaker, Megan
Siems, a physical therapist from Magnolia Rehab in Columbus. Megan gave an interesting talk on sports injuries and treatment.
A short business meeting was held afterwards. Dave reminded everyone of the upcoming Grand Prix events - the Freaky Friday 10K on
October 30, Run For Education on Oct 31 and the Vardaman Sweet Potato 5K on Nov 7. Also coming up is the Turkey Trot on Nov 21 and
Dave announced that the club Christmas party will be Tuesday, Dec 1 at 6:30 p.m. at Lake Lowndes. The club will provide the meat with
members bringing side dishes. There will be more information on the website so members can sign up.
The next meeting will be Tuesday, Nov 3 at 6:30 p.m. at Tampico Bay on College Street in Columbus.
