March meeting was held at
Present: Dave Peebles, Carol Peebles, Tom Kennedy,
O.K. Bryant, Peter Rabideau, Jennifer Rabideau, Judy Coleman, Tom Dichiara,
Jr., Fonda Dichiara, Jim Pritchett, and Betty Gill
Discussion:
1. President, Dave Peebles, handed out
registration forms for the Cotton Mill 5K and the Columbus Pilgrimage 10K. He reported that the MUW Health Fair went
well and thanked Tallulah Bryant and Carole Stewart for their help. Tom Kennedy
gave an update on the budget.
2. O.K. Bryant and Judy Coleman gave updates on
two upcoming races in March, the 5K at
3. O.K. suggested giving members the option of
receiving the newsletter electronically.
It would save on printing and postage costs and more color and pictures
could be used. It was agreed to try it
and Jennifer said she would put something in the newsletter later on about how
to sign up for those interested. Copies
would still be mailed to members who want the printed newsletter.
4. Dave discussed buying a tablecloth with the
club logo to use at events such as the Health Fair. O.K. will check with the
T-Shirt Shop about prices, then a decision will be
made later. Dave suggested scheduling some group runs or bike rides. It was decided to set up a run/bike
tentatively for Saturday, April 5 at 4-County.
